This 5MP 160° Variable Focus Camera Module for Raspberry Pi Zero features a wide 160° fisheye lens and uses the same OV5647 chip as the standard Raspberry Pi camera! Therefore, it is able to deliver a crystal clear 5MP resolution image or 1080p HD video recording at 30fps!
After installing the camera module, you can use three apps to access the module: Raspistill, Raspiyuv and Raspivid. The first two apps capture images and the last catches video. The Raspistill creates standard image files, .jpg images, for example, while Raspiyuv generates unprocessed images through the camera.
