Just like with the two-car version of this Basic Garage Lighting Solution, the three-car option continues the thought process of having three lights over each parking space in a garage. With this version of the solution, you'll be creating a 3x3 grid of nine lights to build a really evenly lit and bright work environment. The way the frosted bulbs and shrouds work to defuse and direct the light means that these won't be too harsh, even with their super high lumen output. 5000K is what we've landed on as the perfect temperature for a garage working environment for detailing and mechanic work.

We like to set these up in a 3x3 pattern and have the lights parallel to the garage doors. If you want to get creative with your layout, feel free. Just be sure to place your lights in such a way that you get even coverage throughout. That's the key here. These lights are really easy to install, and since they have low amperage draw, they can be installed on one switch if you want. However, now that we're into larger garage spaces it may make sense for you to put two bays on one switch and the third bay on a separate switch. Or split the room into three and have three separate switches if you want. For ceilings up to 13 feet, choose the 4-bulb variant. For anything 14 feet and up, choose the 6-bulb option.
